A playwrights' guide to Great Britain.
COME TO WHERE I'M FROM is a national project that invites playwrights to write and perform mini plays about their home towns.
Since 2010 more than 130 playwrights from across the UK have written plays about the places that shaped them. Together these plays make up a theatrical tapestry of the nation – a playwrights' guide to Great Britain.
More than 130 of the plays are available to listen to when you download our free COME TO WHERE I'M FROM app on the App Store. You can explore Leeds with Zodwa Nyoni, walk the streets of Liverpool with Helen Blakeman, hear James Graham's tales of Mansfield, Mike Bartlett on Oxford, Zia Ahmed on Cricklewood and lots, lots more.
Or catch COME TO WHERE I'M FROM live on stage whenever we have new events in new towns and cities. In 2017 the project visits Middlesbrough, Glasgow, Gloucester and Hull. Check out the list of events below - forthcoming, and stretching back to 2010.
Come To Where I'm From is supported by Garrick Charitable Trust and Royal Victoria Hall Foundation.
