Daniella graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2017 with a BA English degree. Whilst at university she spent most of her time at the student theatre, where she enjoyed being both on stage acting and off stage as Company Stage Manager. This gave her an appreciation for the logistics involved in creating a show. Whilst studying she was in productions at Lakeside Arts Theatre Nottingham as well as the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and attended the National Student Drama Festival in 2016 where she enjoyed taking part in discussions with professional actors and theatre-makers about their experiences of the industry.
Upon graduating from university she has worked at the Shakespeare Schools Foundation, a cultural education charity that works with young people to transform their lives through the unique power of Shakespeare. She has also been in productions at The Hen and Chickens Theatre, and worked with a group of fellow Nottingham alumni to devise work about the individual’s response to world-wide environmental crises. She is keen to continue creating theatre and has recently started writing her own work which is mostly about the wonders of female friendships.
Daniella enjoys watching and making theatre, reading anything she can get her hands on and spending time with friends (ideally at theatres).
