Martha MacDonald

Martha MacDonald is a new young writer who grew up in Jersey. Through various local groups such as the youtheatre, she has been involved in the production and performance of a wide range of devised and scripted pieces both contemporary and controversial, she has experienced both the practical and technical sides of drama. Despite being only fourteen years old, Martha has had her work published in various anthologies and magazines throughout the UK. Her playwrighting debut was a one-act play entitled ‘Broken Record (Repeat to Fade)’, chosen by Claire Grove, Senior Producer BBC Radio Drama, to be performed at the Jersey Arts Centre and directed by Natalie Ibu. Martha has been fortunate enough to be involved in incredible opportunities helping her in these first steps towards becoming a professional playwright.
