Rachel D'Arcy joined Paines Plough in May 2015 as Trainee Producer.
Prior to joining the team at Paines Plough, Rachel worked with emerging writers and directors in Scotland. She successfully contributed towards sold out productions at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Tron Theatre, Glasgow.
Rachel is a native Glaswegian and graduated from the MLitt in Theatre Studies at the University of Glasgow in 2014. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Strathclyde and achieved a First Class Honours degree in English in 2012.
She is Creative Associate of Glasgow-based CROSSFADE Theatre, a company established by fellow Theatre Studies graduate Nicola Todd in 2014.
Her credits include: A Bench at the Edge (CROSSFADE Theatre/Govanhill Baths), The Pitchfork Disney (Heroes Theatre/Tron), Cross/Fade(CROSSFADE Theatre/Beacon Arts Centre) and The Villains, the Vote and the Black, Black Oil (Caught Red-Handed Theatre/Edinburgh Fringe).
