Jo joined Paines Plough as Marketing and Audience Development Officer in August 2018, after working as PR Assistant for Mobius Industries at the Edinburgh Fringe. She previously worked at Leicester Square Theatre as Marketing and Administrative Assistant.
Jo is a member of the Poor Michelle creative team, and recently led as creative producer on their first community project, DECADE. She also produced THICK SKIN, which was performed as a Paines Plough LATER at Roundabout, Summerhall in 2017. Prior to this she acted as Production Assistant on The 42nd Theatre Company’s FOUR THIEVES VINEGAR.
Jo graduated from the University of Leeds with a degree in English Literature and Theatre Studies (European) in 2016, having spent a year in Berlin, where she acted as Assistant Director for an international community theatre project. She volunteers for Touretteshero, and has worked as a CSA in both House Management and in the Learning Department at the National Theatre.
Jo writes, is a keen cyclist and is trying her hand at vegetarian cooking. She is also a self-professed Instagram addict.
