Jo joined Paines Plough as Marketing and Audience Development Officer in August 2018, after working as PR Assistant for Mobius Industries at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Jo is a member of the Poor Michelle creative team, and in 2018 led as creative producer on their first community project, DECADE. She also produced THICK SKIN, which was a sold-out Paines Plough LATER in 2017, and acted as Production Assistant on both Poor Michelle's HARRY and The 42nd Theatre Company’s FOUR THIEVES VINEGAR in 2017.
She has also previously worked at Leicester Square Theatre as Marketing Assistant and Box Office Supervisor.
Jo graduated from the University of Leeds with a degree in English Literature and Theatre Studies (European) in 2016, having spent a year in Berlin, where she acted as Assistant Director for an international community theatre project. She has volunteered for Touretteshero, and has worked as a CSA across House Management and the Learning Department at the National Theatre.
Jo writes, is a keen cyclist and is trying her hand at vegetarian cooking. She is also a self-professed Instagram addict.
