Anna joined Paines Plough in 2016 as Trainee Director.

Anna is a director, theatremaker and performer. Prior to joining Paines Plough, Anna was a performer and deviser in Breach Theatre's THE BEANFIELDwhich received a Total Theatre Award at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2015 and toured nationally in 2016. She is a Creative Associate at the Gate Theatre, where she assistant directed IN THE NIGHT TIME (BEFORE THE SUN RISES) by Nina Segal, and an alumnus of the REP Foundry artist development scheme. Other directing credits include LIFE IS NO LAUGHING MATTER by Demi Nandhra (Battersea Arts Centre, Normal? Festival) and 20B by Jane English (Birmingham REP, Theatre Royal Stratford East).

Anna graduated from the University of Warwick in 2015 with a BA in English and Theatre Studies, and is now completing her MA in English Literature at Warwick.
