A Paines Plough and Bristol Old Vic production
Ticket to Write 3
Western Front
November 1999
Synopsis
A night of short comedies by Bristol writers
Ticket to write brings you Western Front; the very best of new comedy talent from Bristol.
In Spring 99, we gave Bristol writers a challenge: Write a short play to make people laugh. In November 99, we invite you to be the jury... come and decide if these 10 met the challenge.
Whether you feel like gentle, madcap, laddish, farcical, adolescent, romantic, observational or saucy comedy, these ten shorts bear witness that all is anything but quiet on the Western Front
