Synopsis

"In your family you do things as in Shakespeare" Charlie Chaplin said to Hanns Eisler.

This play tells the story of this extraordinary family-Hans the famous composer who worked with Brecht; Gerhart the undercover agent; Ruth the fiery revolutionary.

An exciting and evocative mixture of music, song, tableaux and fast moving scenes takes the action between the political upheavals of Berlin in the 30s and life in exile in Hollywood in the 40s
