Ancestry is about a journey of trying to fit in the modern world in NW London taking me to my roots in Pakistan through my great-grandfather's biography.
Mediah Ahmed was born and bred in North West London. With a PhD in Biophysics, her love of theatre was sparked while participating in the Unheard Voices writing workshops at Royal Court. Her first piece, REPENTANCE, ran for two weeks as part of ANGLE at the Bush. She also has poetry published in the SALIDAA and Keats House Poets’ anthologies. Her last play, PEACE CODE, featured in the Tamasha Scratch Night at Soho Theatre.
