Paines Plough presents
TRACES

"Want to spot the next Mark Ravenhill or Dennis Kelly? This could be the place to start..." The Guardian, March '09
It's the hottest day of the year. Leanne returns home to a small town in search of the past. Meet the frappuccino-swilling Goth, the young girl longing to meet her idol, the guitar-playing agoraphobic, and the man just looking for love, as they come together on a day that will change all their lives forever.
Traces is brought to you by the six brilliant young writers who form Future Perfect 2009, Paines Plough's annual programme for the next generation of playwriting. They'll be joined by a company of brilliant young actors from the National Youth Theatre and directed by Paines Plough's Literary Director Tessa Walker.
Written by Lucinda Cardey, Laura Lomas, Penelope Skinner, Adam Taylor, Danielle Sibley and Tom Wells.
Cast Edward Birch, Nicholas Corre, William Edelsten, Michael Harding, Harriet Kemsley, Samantha Morrish, Olive Obi, Peyvand Dadeghian, Joseph Sarrington Smith.
Traces has been made possible through the generosity of Channel 4 and Film Four. It is performed in association with the National Youth Theatre.
